Wendy Drozenová is a research assistant at the Institute of Philosophy of the Czech Academy of Sciences (IP CAS) in Prague. Her research interest focuses on ethics (moral philosophy) and applied ethics in various contexts: bioethics, ethical aspects of technology and its environmental impacts, ethical dimensions of spiritual culture and religion. In the nineties she was teaching Ethics and Science-Technology-Society at Czech Technical University, later (to 2019) at the Philosophy Department of Hussite Theological Faculty of Charles University (along with Philosophy of Religion and Logic). For many years she cooperates with UNESCO Chair in Bioethics at Faculty of Arts, University of Prešov, SK. Besides many research papers and chapters in several books she is author of the monograph on relationship of Christianity towards nature: Země je plna tvých tvorů [The Earth is Full of Thy Creatures.] (Praha, Karolinum 2005) and editor and co-author of books Etika vědy v České republice: od historických kořenů k současné bioetice [Ethics of Science in the Czech Republic: From the Historical Roots to Contemporary Bioethics.] (Praha, Filosofia 2010) and Filosofie Hanse Jonase [Philosophy of Hans Jonas.] (Praha, Filosofia 2019).
